AB YACHTS AT THE UPCOMING BOAT SHOWS

AB Yachts is a brand, owned by Next Yacht Group, with undisputable leadership in terms of both performance and style, offering bespoke luxury boat buildings for thirty years. It is the sportiest brand of the Group - the ones that by definition is meant to get adrenaline pumping, offering the thrill of high speed in the utmost safety, comfort and unmatched glamour.

At this year's European boat shows and AB YACHTS will be presenting the first AB110 and a new interpretation of the AB80.

The AB110 is the progenitor of a new generation of yachts that takes all AB Yachts technical and technological contents, the brand's 30 years' experience, its reliability, engineering solutions, propulsion system, and construction materials and integrates them into a new aesthetic, entirely designed by architect Marco Casamonti / Archea Associati. This is a model in which engineering research blends with art and nature, and the pleasure of top performances and freedom goes hand in hand with comfort and wellbeing - in a nutshell, the AB110 embodies an exquisite, harmonious combination of dynamism and onboard liveability.

Archea Associati and AB Yachts' team have successfully joined efforts on this project to combine aesthetic looks and technology at best and achieve the perfect harmony between the thrill of speed and the pleasure of freedom of movement.

The outcome is a distinctly sporty vessel that remains unchanged in terms of performances, noiselessness and the absence of any vibrations while further increasing onboard liveability, comfort, and unparalleled wellbeing.  With a focus on sustainability, too: the slanted windshield, for instance, and the use of ultra-light, glass having greater thermal resistance reduce heat gain, increasing sustainability and efficiency.

The new 110 embodies a brand-new concept of space. First of all, the flybridge has been extended, increasing onboard liveability and offering a wonderful outlook over the sea accessible via two carbon-fibre external staircases. Volume has been doubled in the pilot station area too, flooded with natural light. From there, a double staircase with curved steps connects the main deck to the guest area.

The spatial revolution has also involved the lounge areas both forward and aft; the latter can be converted into a generous, pleasant beach area that ensures the closest possible contact with the sea.

A vessel where the exteriors and interiors flow smoothly into one another in a soft, fluid movement of tactile elements and walkable surfaces, from staircases to furniture, from built-in cupboards to furnishings. So, onboard this yacht, teak is used as if it were one single uninterrupted carpet that, starting from the beach area, smoothly reaches the aft cockpit and then unfolds across the interiors: the salon, the wheelhouse, and the double staircase leading to the lower deck.

And more, carbon has also been extensively used both indoors and outdoors, for the flybridge staircases and the tables; this stylish and versatile material effectively combines outstanding resistance and sturdiness with lightness, which is a pre-requisite to deliver high performances.

The fully-integrated pilot station is the perfect synthesis of design and technology: among its innovative features are a large touch display and a unique lighting system where the light brightness and colours vary as the yacht gains speed.

Special care has indeed been devoted to both day and night lighting solutions; the exterior lighting design, in particular, is highly distinctive, iconic, to make this yacht's unmistakable profile highly recognisable even in the dark.

This 34-metre yacht (110.2ft.) - characterised by the pleasant, charming interiors of a loft, ideal to enjoy conviviality while admiring her stylish lines, elegantly-finished details, and all-pervading brightness - flies on the water at 45 knots while maintaining unmatched stability, thanks to two latest generation Seakeeper sk26 stabilizers -, and trim and, thanks to her limited draught (1.30 M / 4.2ft.), can reach even the most secluded bays.

This is, in short, the new AB110. Simply, the AB Yachts tradition taken to the next level.

The yacht will have her world premiere in Cannes (10/15 September), Genoa (19/24 September) and Monaco (25/28 September).

The AB80, which has a 25.40-metre LOA but is still officially below 24 metres in length, is the entry level in her range and shares the captivating design and state-of-the-art technologies of all other AB Yachts models.  She can glide on the water at a maximum speed of over 55 knots and a cruising speed of 45; she can cruise in shallow waters; she delivers impressive performances and manoeuvrability, keeps consumption extremely low thanks to her reduced displacement and her efficient construction approach and propulsion, and can be easily driven by her Owner, who is free to decide whether to enjoy a long cruise with his family and friends or use her as a luxury day-boat.

All onboard areas have been custom-designed and fitted out exclusively by the Group's Centro Stile to the taste and requirements of her Owner and with an eye to the yacht's specific intended uses.

This unit has a very practical layout, without the slightest detriment to volumes, brightness and style. The galley - fitted with “heavy duty” appliances - is on the main deck and opens, on one side, onto a dining area seating 8 guests, on the other directly onto the aft cockpit. The result, thanks to fully conceivable sliding doors, is a uniquely versatile space, ideal not only to cook food, but also to make cocktails or sip a beer with appetizers while watching a football game on the huge TV screen installed in the saloon. A comfortable custom-made sofa completes the lounge area, while the up-and-down TV system divides it from the pilot house, enabling guests to enjoy great entertainment as well as privacy.

This main-deck configuration has allowed to arrange 4 guest cabins on the lower deck: an aft full-beam master stateroom, a VIP suite - also full-beam (nearly a second master cabin!) -located forward, and two twin cabins amidships, one of which featuring two sliding beds that can be easily, just pushing a button, be converted in one double size bed.

The large sunbathing areas in the aft and fore cockpits and on the fly, as well as a 12,000-Watt stereo system will offer truly unforgettable moments - be it a party with other yachts on one of Miami sandbars, at anchor or on a beach in the Bahamas, or a pleasant cruise in the Hamptons, this yacht has been developed and built to make the most of music, friends, and performances.

Not to mention water toys: the large aft garage is equipped to store two ski-jets, which can be easily lowered into and recovered from the water thanks to a slide system, and to always have at hand everything needed to enjoy the sea to the fullest.

The yacht will be in Cannes (10/15 September) and Monaco (25/28 September).
